Beccachelorette Recap Week Nine: Runaway Becca

Image
source This week we are thaid up in a love triangle in Chang Mai, Thailand. Becca is over the moon to be among the culture AKA street food and temples. She's determined that she is in love with 2 men and falling in love with a 3rd.  Blake is lucky number 1 for overnight. I've always thought that receiving the first shot at the fantasy suite is a badge of honor--less chance of sexually communicable diseases and such.  Becca is wearing her very best LuLuLemon leggings and crop top and informs Blake that they are going to hike to a sacred temple. They cannot kiss or touch after crossing the threshold into the forest, yet Becca's midriff isn't considered offensive. Cut off from their one source of entertainment (lip-locking), Becca and Blake exchange comments of how beautiful the hike is during their ascent. A monk shows them into the temple where the couple receives a lesson on honestly, patience, etc.  The monks invite them to ring a bell to spread their love to

Bachelorette Recap Week Eight: Hometowns

Craig Sjodin--ABC It's time to meet the parents! Garrett and Nevada are up first. Even though he's a medical sales rep, he puts Becca to work on the farm. His family owns an agricultural business and today they are planting tomatoes. Becca doesn't have the timing quite down so they move onto planting a rose bush so Garrett can bring her roses anytime he wants. They sit for a champagne picnic and bring up Garrett's divorce for the 80th time. He thinks it will be harder for him to bring someone home to his family now so he wants to prepare Becca for the Nevada Inquisition.  At his parents house, they sit down for dinner. Big Sis Allison is the first to ask to speak with Garrett. He describes his initial attraction to Becca and their strong connection. Allison is evidently still traumatized by what Garret went through previously and squeaks out through tears that she is concerned and protective. I needed subtitles so we can't be 100% sure of what she's sayi

The Beccachelorette Week Seven: That Date Card Brought Me Back to Life

source We are in the Bahamas! The land of blue water, brightly painted houses, and..purple kitten heels? Becca reclines on a speedboat and is ready to call the Bahamas home for forever. She sits down with a Chris Harrison that is honestly looking worse for the wear. I noticed more wrinkles than I ever have and was truly disappointed. May his collar was unbuttoned one more button than usual? Becca truly feels like this is working.  Wills' leopard on leopard ensemble is NOT working. The gentlemen recline on the couch in their suite and await the first date card. Instead, Becca sneaks in the door and greets them in a purple cover up. She explains that she's out on rose ceremonies this week and will instead be doing 3 one on ones and a group date. Whoever doesn't get roses on these dates will be going home without the promise of a hometown.  Her first date starts right now and she grabs Colton's hand to drag him to a yacht. She compares Colton to a god that's bui

The Beccachelorette Week Six: Born to Shuck

source Becca is en route to Richmond, Virginia with a carry on duffel filled with bridal magazines. She explores her new city in a hot pink jacket. Spring has spring according to the tulips, but her layers are telling a different story. Once her guys arrive, they wrestle on the master bedroom in their suite before sitting down to discuss the impending several days. Chris realizes that this is a redemption week and he's going to need to do some serious catching up after his tantrum in Vegas. Before he can make any lofty goals, he sits on a love seat with Lincoln and exchanges childish barbs. The mature adults in the room exchange eye rolls and Jason excuses himself to get ready for his date! Ding Dong Date Card: "Jason, life is full of surprises" Jason and Becca board their private street car and toast to the full day ahead. Becca has always enjoyed Jason's lips so she needed to dedicate an entire day to testing them out. I think Jason drew the short straw on t
